Action items 1. the quick drying chemicals on power cable and connector will be done by factory operators with ThreeBond 1530C and the vendor is checking the glue for this request. Will update the spec on 1/4. (Henry) 2. Would you plz define the SOP for the glue used on DC Jack/ RJ45/ HDMI connectors, the ECAP, and the AMP board connector? such as the usage in gram and the gluing points/ area, etc. The factory needs a clear instruction to execute the request to avoid the impact on acoustic performance caused by different operating techniques. (Lonnie) 3. The glue 1530C mentioned above is very expensive, like hundreds of dollars per kilo. We don't wish to add more cost on top of the current figure...so we will only use it for DVT1 60pcs. Would you plz help check if Inkel could provide the glue GB-508W for DVT2 408pcs for all connectors and ECAP? We will also check if possible to buy it from our agency on AVL. @Henry. First, Substitute of glue "ThreeBond 1530C", I just recommend LDC-737 https://www.dow.com/en-us/pdp.dowsil-ldc-737-sealant.02433150z.html The purpose of applying the glue is to prevent Noise and vibration the part. There is no need to use expensive special polymers. LDC-737 sealant is commonly used electronics, (usually applied SMPS) and very cheaper then ThreeBond 1530C. - about 30~40 dollars per Kilo - The cure properties are also similar Thanks SON |

Hi Lonnie, I'd like to update the action item 1 the glue used to seal the gap between the connector and the cables will be hot melt glue with Ethylene Vinyl Acetate 45% and resin 55%.
